Director's Message
Hello and welcome. I鈥檓 Dr. Shanda Jenkins, and I鈥檓 honored to serve as the Director of the Office of Faculty Recruitment and Retention within Academic Affairs. I look forward to leading our efforts to attract and retain exceptional faculty who bring a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and strengths to 麻豆国产AV (麻豆国产AV).
After over twenty years in the classroom, I have seen firsthand how vital faculty well-being and success are to student persistence and achievement. My mission is to help foster an environment where faculty from all backgrounds feel supported, respected, and empowered to thrive in their teaching, research, and service.
I鈥檒l be collaborating closely with colleagues across campus, including those in the Center for Faculty Development, The Quality Enhancement Plan, the Office of Talent Management and Culture and the Office of Intercultural Relations, to strengthen a campus culture that values respect, innovation, collaboration, and community-building for everyone.
